Nutrition Minute: Express Detox Green Smoothie Recipe by RDN Adrienne Raimo
While the summer months are full of delicious cooked and grilled food options, it’s also good to fill ourselves with fresh produce that will detox our bodies and get them feeling hydrated and re-energized! So, today we are sharing a recipe from our Registered Dietician, Adrienne Raimo, that will help you do just that! Express Detox Green Smoothie
Ingredients
1 cup of water or coconut water
2 cups of kale
1 lemon, juiced
1 medium apple
1 frozen banana
2 pitted dates
1″ ginger root
Instructions
Add all ingredients to high-powered blender and blend well.
